What is PPEML ?
PPEML stands for Plas Panteidal Estate Management Limited. It’s a not for profit company, limited by guarantee, and is responsible for the management and upkeep of the Plas Panteidal chalet park.
How can I join PPEML ?
Chalet owners will be invited to apply to become members of PPEML in the near future (provided they are up to date with their service charge). Membership is not open to the general public.
How can I buy a chalet at Plas Panteidal ?
All the chalets are privately owned by individual chalet owners so sales are through estate agents in the usual way. More info>>
What charges are there?
All chalet owners are required to pay an annual service charge to PPEML for the upkeep of the site. The chalets are freehold, so owners do not have leaseholds to renew and do not pay rent to PPEML.
How can I rent a chalet for a holiday ?
Some chalet owners have chosen to let their chalets for holidays. This is a private agreement between the chalet owner and holiday maker.
What is Plas Panteidal ?
Plas Panteidal is a chalet park with a mix of residential cabins, holiday homes and holiday lets, all privately owned.
Is the water safe to drink?
The water is NOT currently safe to drink, please use bottled water for all your cooking, drinking, teeth-brushing etc.
How is electricity charged?
Chalet owners are charged by PPEML for electricity, which is separately metered to each chalet.
Can you walk to Aberdyfi (Aberdovey) from Plas Panteidal?
There is a scenic route from Plas Panteidal that takes you through to the panoramic walk and into Aberdyfi. This is a public path that goes through private farm land. Please keep dogs on leads. There is no footpath / pavement on the main road.
What do we do with the rubbish?
All chalets that are registered as residential properties will have individual bins provided by Gwynedd Council from late May 2022. They provide a recycling ‘stack’ for cardboard, bottles, plastic and cans. Also a small brown bin for food waste and a large bin for non-recyclable rubbish. Bins are collected from designated collection points.
